Amid protest by students and others, CUNY trustees vote to Raise Tuition

Youth gather at a demonstration. The reason is that they want to raise the annual tuition cost of $ 300 until 2015.
This year, they have risen from $ 5.130 up $ 6.330 in 2015-16 to about $ 500 per year in additional costs.
The angry students took to the streets with drums and banners, saying "CUNY must be free", joining the demonstration teachers and unions. Dr. Goldstein says the increase is intended in part to the protection of the faculty and staff. The protesters claim that CUNY has money to avoid the increase and not go to these lengths.
-I chose this story because I feel very bad the rising cost of tuition for students, since they are the less money you have and want to make a run to a better future. There will come a time when nobody will want to study.

Babies make a splash in underwater snaps

London Baby Swim's Operations Directors, Phil Shaw, 51, and Ana Torres, 36, are confident that babies have what it takes to be happy in a swimming pool.
Phil says that after nine months in the womb, a water environment, babies are perfectly prepared to swim from birth.
Special UV light is used to keep the water clean and reduce the amount of chlorine used for a pool that is friendly to sensitive babies' skin.
Phil's expertise in baby swimming has led him to understand exactly how babies are naturally able to take to the water.
Some parts of the throat called the glottis and epiglottis close to prevent water from entering. This provides a seal to the lungs while the baby is submerged, which is why we often see babies to swim with their mouths open. The babies also have what is called “the amphibian reflex”.
Phil added that with London Baby Swim courses, they are helping babies to make new brain connections and strengthen their learning through the exercise and stimulation.
They are very proud to see not only how much the babies enjoy the classes but how they improve their abilities in the water.
I chose this story of THE SUN newspaper because I found it very interesting the ability of babies to hold underwater.

Line Grows Long for Free Meals at U.S. Schools
I have choosen this new for show to all people, one of the effects of the financial crisis in U.S.While the national government spends millions of dollars in wars. Million of persons live as they can. It`s a paradox.

Millions of American schoolchildren are receiving free or low-cost meals for the first time as their parents, many once solidly middle class, have lost jobs or homes during the economic crisis, qualifying their families for the decades-old safety-net program.
The number of students receiving subsidized lunches rose to 21 million last school year from 18 million in 2006-7, a 17 percent increase, according to an analysis by The New York Times of data from the Department of Agriculture, which administers the meals program. Eleven states, including Florida, Nevada, New Jersey and Tennessee, had four-year increases of 25 percent or more, huge shifts in a vast program long characterized by incremental growth.
