An opposition activist in Syria that was in contact with residents of the city of Homs, said the bombing was more violent in recent days, government troops launched multiple rockets in the attack.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 29 people had died and that the number could increase because there were dozens of serious injuries.
There were also explosions Khalidy, Baba Amro Bayada Deib and neighborhoods.

The latest assault in Homs appeared to be widely targeted, with explosions in Khalidiya, Baba Amro, Bayada and Bab Dreib neighbourhoods, the activists said.
